Rebecca Karpovsky is a NYC based actor/writer, working in film, TV and commercials. Most recently Rebecca played a guest star role in the 2018 Sundance Selected Pilot called Paint. She also won "Best Supporting Actor" for her role in the film Career Day at the First Run Film Festival. She is a member of the NYC theatre company, Lost & Found Theatre Project. She trained with renowned teachers Wynn Handman and Kathryn Gately.
She and her collaborator, Amanda Lundquist, co-wrote and produced the feature film PINSKY. The film premiered at the 2017 Moscow International Film Festival and won "Best Narrative Feature Film" at the 2017 Santa Fe Independent Film Festival.
She is represented by Fran Blain and Associates.
Currently Rebecca and Amanda are preparing the next feature and Rebecca is in the process of producing her one woman show about the life of Sarah Bernhardt.
In her spare time, she cooks some excellent brisket and paté. She can also be a wonderful kvetch.
